Patient Service Representative Job Summary:

MGA Healthcare is seeking dedicated Patient Services Representatives for a full-time opportunity in San Jose, CA. This call center role will put you on the front-line of customer service for one of the leading medical centers in the country! As an MGA Customer Service Representative, you can expect competitive weekly pay, a dependable full-time schedule, and after just 30 days of full-time work, you will be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, vision, dental, and 401k (with match!).

You will:

  • Provide both inbound and outbound call support
  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers and identify the type of assistance needed by the customer
  • Strive to resolve any issues on first contact and elevate problems as needed to the proper representatives
  • Verify patient demographics and service their account as needed
  • Reach out to patients or their caregivers to confirm scheduled appointments
  • Verify referrals with healthcare providers and ensure compliance with patient’s insurance
  • Thoroughly document service provided to customers and identify trends in issues reported

We’re looking for:

  • An enthusiastic, customer-focused professional seeking a long-term Patient Service Representative opportunity in San Jose, CA
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in a call center or related customer service roles
  • Ability to comfortably navigate various computer systems and troubleshoot if needed
  • Experience with EMR systems such as Epic and OnBase highly preferred
  • Familiarity with basic front-office processes such as scheduling and patient registration
