Chief Nursing Officer Job Summary:

 Zoe Holding Company is seeking a chief nursing officer for a full-time, direct hire opportunity available at Zoe headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. This role is responsible for ensuring that all clinical services are provided in accordance with all regulatory, statutory and accreditation requirements at the federal, state and local levels that govern healthcare providers and home health agencies.


  • Provide oversight, management, development and provision of all clinical services and clinical functions of Zoe Holding Company home health agencies (located in Arizona, Colorado and Texas)
  • Plan, organize, direct and evaluate clinical operations to ensure the consistent provision of quality care and services across all lines of service in each agency. 
  • Identify, develop, and implement key performance indicators to measure clinical performance, set goals, and implement improvement plans. 
  • Oversee training and ongoing development to ensure clinicians have the necessary capabilities to support the company’s mission, vision, and values and provide quality care. 
  • Communicate regularly with the Governing Body, COO, legal team, administrators and agency clinical departments. 
  • Provide direct oversight of the clinical compliance and clinical education teams 
  • Knowledgeable on all regulations required by OCR, CMS, CHAP, and state regulatory agencies that oversee healthcare providers and home health agencies. 
  • Implement governing body directives. 
  • Ensure that clinical policies are developed, standardized, and consistently implemented across all agencies. 
  • Travel to each agency with appropriate frequency to ensure that the established standards of quality of care and service are consistently being met. 
  • Ensure clinical staff has access to current clinical information and practices. 
  • Directs and monitor organizational clinical performance improvement activities. 
  • In conjunction with the Director of Clinical Education, ensures clinical staff development including, but not limited to, orientation, in-service education, continuing education and evaluation of clinical staff. 
  • Identify and develop new or modified existing clinical programs that will appropriately benefit the organization. 
  • Identify threats, risks, and changes within the home healthcare industry and develop appropriate strategies and programs. 


  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing. 
  • Current RN licensure in Arizona (or compact state) 
  • At least 5-years of home health experience preferred. 
  • At least 7-years of prior executive leadership experience in healthcare. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work in an open, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
